What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful healing technique that supports physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It originated in Japan in the early 1900s and, when translated, means "universal energy."  This energy is believed to flow through all things, and when balanced, it promotes harmony and healing.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses their hands to channel this energy and directs it into the recipient's body to promote healing that is specific to them and in alignment with their highest good. The recipient may feel localized heat, tingling, or other sensations and commonly experiences total relaxation, and may enter a sleepy or meditative state.

Holy Fire III is a variation of traditional Usui Reiki. It is an advanced level of Reiki healing that allows practitioners to access higher levels of consciousness and more potent healing energies to achieve purification, empowerment, and guidance.

It's important to note that Reiki does not belong to a specific religion or culture. Instead, it is grounded in the fundamental desires for inner peace, vitality, and health shared across many cultural and spiritual backgrounds. As a result, Reiki serves as an inclusive practice that can be integrated into one's personal belief system, enhancing the individual's sense of connection to their inner self and the broader universe.

Reiki can help reduce stress and anxiety, calm an over-active mind, and reduce pain and feelings of fatigue or sluggishness. In addition to generalized emotional well-being, Reiki may also assist with achieving deeper spiritual awareness and connection and heightened intuition and guidance.
