Chantelle Roberts (BHS, ND Candidate)

Chantelle Roberts (BHS, ND Candidate) graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May, 2023 and has since been working under the supervision of licensed Naturopathic Doctors in Regina while she studies for and writes her licensing examinations. Effective November 17, 2023, Chantelle will be working under the supervision of Dr Larissa Wheeler, ND at Radiance Health in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Chantelle always knew she was meant to work in healthcare in some capacity but wasn’t quite sure what path to take. Her passion for health and wellness began at a young age while she struggled to find answers for her own health

concerns. She first discovered Naturopathic Medicine through an innocent conversation with a family member about their experience seeing a Naturopath. Curious, and looking for answers, she decided to seek out Naturopathic care for herself. She didn’t know that healthcare could look like this – she was inspired by the holistic approach to care (mind, body, spirit), the time spent discussing and researching her health concerns, and collaboration in care. She felt heard. At that moment, she knew that this was the career path she was meant to pursue.

Chantelle completed an undergraduate degree in Health Studies at the University of Regina, which had an emphasis on contemporary and indigenous health concerns, the social determinants of health and health research. Chantelle also completed a semester-long externship working under the supervision of Dr Laura Stark, ND. Her time during this externship solidified her passion for health and wellness, and she soon found herself moving across the country to study Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. In her clinical year at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Chantelle had the privilege of seeing patients on the Integrative Cancer Care shift and on the Sherbourne Community Health shift where she provided integrative care to patients with cancer and underserved populations. Four years later, Chantelle has now moved back to her hometown of Regina and is excited to provide Naturopathic care to the community she grew up in.

Chantelle is particularly passionate about working in pediatrics, women’s health, mental health and metabolic health; however, she currently has a general practice and provides care to individuals with a variety of health concerns. She is excited to be a part of your health journey no matter your health concerns!

“I believe that each individual is capable of living a healthy and fulfilling life. I am dedicated to supporting my patients as they navigate their health journeys, and honour that this may not look the same for everyone. My approach to care is not a 'one-size-fits-all' approach, but instead draws upon evidence-based medicine, naturopathic principles of care, traditional healing paradigms and the healing power of nature. My goal is to work in collaboration with my patients and empower them to become advocates for their health and wellbeing.”
