Lazy Girl Workouts

If you're anything like me you might struggle with finding time or even motivation to exercise during the day. Well I'm here to show you, you can do exercises anywhere! Including right from your very own bed!

Exercising is an important part of health and can get things moving when you're feeling a bit down. The last thing anyone wants to do after a long day of work is do more. So, here's a few tips and tricks to try when you're feeling a little unmotivated.

The "Half-Bridge" exercise is one of my favourites. While targeting hamstrings and glutes it's also probably the most stable position if you find you struggle with balance. From doing each exercise you can easily move into the next position without having to exhaust yourself.

Now, because most of these exercises can be done laying down and are done on your own time, you can add an exercise band to increase resistance. It may seem silly at first to do these exercises on a soft surface but I can assure you when you hold a position for long periods of time it can cause some strain. Make sure you're still drinking lots of water and taking breaks in between.

A good rule of thumb is to do these exercises one right after the other, holding each set for about 5-10 minutes. Each sequence is up to you to go past your comfortability and create the result you're looking for. Try doing the whole set with each exercise about 2 or 3 times to decrease the chance of exerting yourself too much. Good luck and happy exercising!
