What is Happening with Radiance Health?

Hi All and Happy Spring!

Radiance Health has had a few big changes in the last few months, so I wanted to provide a little update for everyone so that we can navigate this time of change together.

The biggest change is that we’ve moved from our 4401 Albert Street office. I loved that space, but truthfully, at 2500 sq. feet, it was too much for just me! So, I’m on the hunt for the perfect space, or an interim space for my practice.  However, I’ve decided to start on with a new clinic, or open up a smaller space in the fall of 2026.

So, I imagine you have 2 main types of questions:

1.       How can I access my naturopathic care, prescriptions etc.? Are you still accepting new patients?

2.       What will you be doing in the meantime?

Fret not! I have a plan.

1.       I’ve decided to operate virtually for the summer. The summer tends to be a slower season for medicine. This is unsurprising, people are out at the lake and enjoying the brief warm days of summer. So, I am offering my same schedule, but virtual consultations only for the interim. I still will be available to support you, and I encourage you to check in as you need to and as things come up for you! I appreciate your support during this transition. Yes, I am accepting new patients, and if you wanted to refer anyone: of course I will make time to see them. As for prescriptions, I still will be offering those as well for any patients. I’ve contemplated some unique solutions without a physical location:

a.       I will set up a local pickup time once a week or so, on the weekend for pickup. I will endeavour to pick different areas of the city each week for pickup on a rotation: (NW, South, and East Regina).

b.       We can locally deliver it to your door for a small delivery fee of $5.

c.       We can mail it to you via Canada Post, and do pay on delivery so you can pay when it arrives/ when you pick it up from the post office.

2.       What will I be doing in the meantime? Actually, I have some exciting news on that front as well. My husband Jared and I are moving! It has always been in our plans to take over my family farm, and my dad has decided he is ready to move out. So, we are beginning the exciting step of moving into our forever home, renovating, and landscaping. My dad gave us a date in September, so we plan on spending this summer packing up our current house, doing small renovations here to get ready for the move. We will also be gardening, and as my husband has recuperated from his injury, we may be training for an endurance event this summer as well!A quick note: the farm is close to Regina, so my practice will continue to be in the Regina area when we are back in person.

With this change, has come the change to what Radiance Health is as a clinic. RH is my creation, and with this move, I’ve decided to pursue RH as my personal brand and be Naturopathic Medicine only. So, when you hear Radiance Health, it will be analogous to my practice – Dr. Larissa! I loved the idea of a multidisciplinary space where patients could come and access all the services under one roof; however, I’ve had a lot of learnings with the logistics of offering that kind of space. So, I’ve refocused my efforts on building trusted connections in the community, so that I can offer you the best referral to a chiro, RMT, pelvic floor physiotherapist etc. In this way, I can focus on my offerings and what I excel at: being a naturopathic doctor.  Then I can refer for things that are out of my scope for the best care possible for you.

I truly appreciate your continued support of me and my small business during this transition. I’m quite excited to take a small step back from clinic ownership and focus on what I love: which is being a naturopathic doctor. Of course I’ll always be a business owner, but in this short month since I’ve moved to virtual, I have really enjoyed practicing and getting back to basics! Yes, virtual care has some drawbacks - and it’s not forever, but I really have enjoyed focusing on the medicine itself.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me an email. And, if this newsletters has prompted you to check in with me on your symptoms and the progression of your treatment plan, I’ll leave a booking link for you to click here!

All the best in the months ahead, I can’t wait to keep you updated!

Dr. Larissa
